Job Description

Our client, a leading mechanical process engineering contractor, is seeking Line Walkers to join the system turnover team on a major biopharmaceutical construction project in Limerick. This role sits within the Process Division and supports the ongoing system handover and turnover process on a large, active site.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out line walking and system walkdowns against P&IDs to verify installation completeness and accuracy.
• Identify and document discrepancies between installed systems and design documentation.
• Support the system turnover process, working closely with the Turnover Manager and project team.
• Assist in preparing systems for handover, including punch listing and closeout of outstanding items.
• Liaise with construction and quality teams to resolve issues identified during walkdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of walkdown findings and turnover status.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is essential.
• Strong ability to read and interpret P&IDs and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with system walkdowns and line walking on large scale process or pharma projects.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with cross functional site teams.
