Junior Mechanical Engineer – Building Services

Job Summary

We are currently seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to
join a growing Building Services team based in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or
junior-level Mechanical Engineer looking to develop their career within the
building services and construction sector.

You will work alongside experienced engineers and project
teams, gaining exposure to the design, coordination and delivery of mechanical
building services across a range of exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of mechanical
  building services systems.
• Support senior engineers with project design, calculations
  and technical documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of drawings, specifications and
  technical reports.
• Work with multidisciplinary project teams, including
  electrical, structural and architectural disciplines.
• Assist with the coordination of mechanical services within
  building projects.
• Attend site visits and project meetings where required.
• Develop an understanding of relevant engineering standards,
  regulations and industry best practice.
• Support the delivery of projects from initial design through
  to completion.
• Develop strong technical and project management skills with
  guidance from experienced engineers.

Requirements

• A third-level qualification/degree in Mechanical
  Engineering.
• Desirable but not essential:
• Previous experience in Building Services, MEP, construction
  or engineering consultancy.
• Knowledge of mechanical building services systems such as
  HVAC, heating, ventilation, plumbing or public health.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit or other engineering/design
  software.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine interest in developing a career within Building
  Services Engineering.
