Our client requires a Deputy Senior Appointed Person to support electrical safety management across a portfolio of live data centre projects in Munich, working under the Senior Appointed Person and stepping in as authorised deputy during limited periods of absence.

Scope of the role: this position supports the day to day administration of the electrical safety framework on site, assisting with permits, switching preparation and training, while building toward full authorised person competency.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with hazardous energy control procedures, including lock out tag out
• Support administration of the electrical safety permit and access control system
• Assist with preparation of switching plans and system boundary checks for LV and MV systems
• Contribute to training, toolbox talks and competency tracking for the site team
• Support review of electrical risk assessments and method statements
• Escalate safety concerns to the Senior Appointed Person and project team
• Deputise for the Senior Appointed Person on limited occasions, as nominated
• Monitor subcontractors and vendors for compliance with client SOPs and testing procedures
• Support periodic inspection and auditing per client and jurisdictional requirements

Must-have requirements:

• 5 to 8 years electrical experience on large installation projects
• LV and MV authorised person training completed within the last two years
• National Craft Certificate in electrical, or equivalent qualification

Nice to have:

• Data centre or similarly regulated site experience
• Familiarity with permit to work and lock out tag out systems
• Good technical and communication skills
